Procedure

  • First of all, I recommend getting good-quality bread as it is the main ingredient. For example, I use rustic bread cut into slices about 0.4 inches thick.

  • After cutting the bread into slices, place a griddle on the stovetop over high heat and heat it up. When the griddle is hot, place the rustic bread slices on it and reduce the heat to medium.

    Cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip and cook the other side for the same time.

  • Now that the bread is toasted and warm, place a slice of smoked salmon on each piece of bread.

    For the first recipe, top with orange wedges and fennel sticks.
