  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Rest time: 1 Hour
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 13 balls
  • Cooking methods: No-bake
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz grated coconut
  • 3.5 oz condensed milk
  • as needed dark chocolate
  • as needed unsweetened cocoa powder
  • as needed grated coconut

Tools

  • Cupcake Liners

Steps

Start by preparing all the ingredients.

  • In a large bowl, pour the grated coconut and condensed milk. Mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon or spatula until you get a smooth and sticky mixture.

With slightly damp hands to prevent the mixture from sticking, take small portions of the mixture and form round balls of the desired size. You can make balls about 1 inch in diameter.

They are already good like this, but if you want to make them more indulgent, you can roll some in unsweetened cocoa, others in grated coconut, and others in melted chocolate (melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until completely smooth and liquid. Let cool slightly and then gently dip each coconut ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring the surface is completely covered. Use a fork to lift the balls and let the excess chocolate drain off.)

Place the balls on a tray lined with parchment paper, ensuring enough space between them to prevent sticking.

Transfer the tray to the fridge and let the balls cool for at least half an hour.

Once the balls are well chilled and the chocolate has solidified, they are ready to be enjoyed. Serve them on a dessert plate and enjoy this delicacy.

Now you’re ready to delight yourself and your guests with these coconut and condensed milk balls. Enjoy!

Tips, Storage

They go fast!!! I recommend doubling the quantities!!!

If there are any leftover balls (but it’s hard to resist!), store them in the refrigerator in an airtight container to keep them fresh.

With the quantities provided in the recipe, you should be able to prepare about 13 balls. You can adjust the size to your liking to get the desired number of balls.
