  • 1 Golden apple
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsps walnuts
  • 1 tbsp almonds
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • to taste ground cinnamon

Tools

  • Air Fryer

Steps

  • Wash the apples and, if you prefer, peel them. Gently remove the core with a corer or a small knife, leaving the bottom intact to hold the filling. Slightly widen the cavity with the back of a teaspoon.

In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with the honey. Add the chopped walnuts, almonds, cinnamon, and the drained and patted raisins. Mix until you get a creamy and fragrant mixture.

With a teaspoon, fill the apple cavities with the mixture, pressing slightly. If you have some filling left, you can serve it on the side or enjoy it as is!

  • Place the stuffed apples in the air fryer basket. Cook at 356°F for about 10-15 minutes, or until the apples are soft and golden on the surface.

Once cooked, let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Storage

You can store the stuffed baked apples in the fridge for up to 1 day, in an airtight container. Before enjoying, heat them for a few minutes in the air fryer or microwave to regain all their aroma.

Tips

Add a pinch of ginger to the filling for a spicy touch.
For an even more indulgent dessert, top with a piece of dark chocolate.
Want to make them vegan? Use plant-based yogurt and agave syrup instead of honey.
Try them for breakfast too: they are healthy, filling, and super nutritious!
