Steps
Preparing the RICE PIZZA is very simple!
Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil, add the rice and cook until al dente (it will finish cooking in the oven).
Simultaneously, cook a simple sauce for 10 minutes in another pot with tomato sauce, a splash of oil, salt, and half a glass of water.
Drain the rice, add a knob of butter, a few ladles of tomato sauce, and some grated cheese, mix well.
Butter a baking dish and compose the layers!
Add half of the rice, a layer of tomato sauce, and a layer of shredded mozzarella.
Finish with the remaining rice, tomato sauce, grated Grana, and small pieces of butter.
Place in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15/20 minutes, during the last 5 minutes, sprinkle the rice pizza with more shredded mozzarella, oregano, and basil leaves. If your oven has it, turn on the grill function and you’ll get a light and delicious crust on the surface!!!
Look how it stretches!!!
Enjoy your meal!
