Brisée Pastry Croissants with Gorgonzola and Pears

The brisée pastry croissants with gorgonzola and pears are delicious and easy to make. Perfect as an appetizer or starter, they can be prepared in just a few minutes. The croissants, made with ready-made brisée pastry, are filled with sweet gorgonzola and pear pieces, baked in the oven. Since they disappear in the blink of an eye, make plenty!!!

  • 1 sheet brisée pastry (round)
  • 2.8 oz pear
  • 2.8 oz gorgonzola
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • to taste sesame

Preparation

  • Peel the pear, cut it into pieces removing the seeds, then place it in a bowl.

  • Cut the gorgonzola into cubes, add it to the sliced pear, add the breadcrumbs and mix.

  • Take the round brisée pastry sheet, unroll it and use the wheel cutter to create eight wedges. Fill them with the prepared filling and shape them into croissants.

  • Place them well spaced on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush them with the egg yolk on the surface, and decorate with sesame seeds.

  • Bake the croissants in a preheated oven at 356°F and cook for 20 minutes in static mode. Serve them hot.
