Variation – Storage

You can replace frozen shrimp with fresh shrimp, after cleaning and cooking them. For a vegetarian/vegan version, replace them with eggs, cheese, tofu, or seitan.

I recommend preparing the salad at the time of consumption, avoiding leftovers, as the fruit will tend to oxidize and release water.
