The Halloween Popcorn is a fun and colorful version to enjoy popcorn during the spookiest holiday of the year. They are super easy to prepare and you can enjoy them as a treat after dinner, maybe while munching on them during a horror movie. For the recipe, I used ready-made salted popcorn to make the recipe even quicker and more practical, and to create an unusual combination, a mix of sweet, given by the white chocolate, and salty. For the color, I chose red for a ‘bloody’ effect, but you can choose any color you prefer. Curious? Let’s prepare them.

- 0.7 oz popcorn (salted or unsalted)
- 1 vial red food coloring
- 1 tbsp milk
Tools

- Saucepan
- 2 Bowls
- Spatula
- Teaspoon
Steps
To prepare the Halloween popcorn…
Take a saucepan and fill it halfway with water and put it on low heat, it shouldn’t boil.
Meanwhile, while the water heats, in a bowl slightly larger than the saucepan, break the white chocolate into pieces by hand.
Then place the bowl with the white chocolate on top of the saucepan, making sure that its bottom is immersed in the saucepan, and stir with the spatula.
When the white chocolate is completely melted, add a tablespoon of milk to soften it and the red food coloring. Mix well until the color is uniform.
Finally, pour the popcorn into the other bowl and with the help of a teaspoon, drizzle the colored chocolate over them. Gently mix them to color them slightly. The Halloween popcorn is ready to be enjoyed.
