The herbal bitter spritz is an alcoholic cocktail designed as a pre-dinner, meaning it is ideal to enjoy before dinner (or lunch) and thus for aperitif. I tried it for the first time in the mountains a few years ago, so today I am offering it to you. It is prepared in a few minutes, you just need herbal bitter, Aperol, and good prosecco. Excellent to serve any time of the year.

- 2 oz Aperol
- 1 oz herbal bitter
- 1 slice orange

To prepare the herbal bitter spritz…
In a glass, pour the herbal bitter, Aperol, prosecco, and stir gently twice with a teaspoon.
Then add ice and garnish with a slice of orange. Serve it well chilled.

To enjoy it at its best, I recommend storing the bottles of herbal bitter and Aperol, as well as the prosecco, in the refrigerator.
