The kale chips are incredibly easy to make and perfect to munch on as a salty, healthy, and tasty snack or appetizer. Simply cut and season the kale leaves with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. For more flavor, you can add spices or sesame seeds. I find them excellent as an alternative side dish too.

Steps
To prepare the kale chips…
Take the kale, leaf it, cut the leaves into smaller pieces, not too small, and use a knife to remove the central rib, which is thicker and tougher.
Place the cut kale leaves into a basin, wash them well under running water, and drain them thoroughly.
Transfer the kale to a salad spinner and remove the excess water. Then dry the leaves by patting them with a dish towel.
Take the baking sheet and line it with a sheet of parchment paper, then arrange the kale leaves well spaced apart.
Season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Bake the kale leaves in a preheated oven at 356°F and cook them on a convection setting for 10 minutes.
Serve the kale chips hot right out of the oven or cold as you prefer.
