The kale chips are incredibly easy to make and perfect to munch on as a salty, healthy, and tasty snack or appetizer. Simply cut and season the kale leaves with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. For more flavor, you can add spices or sesame seeds. I find them excellent as an alternative side dish too.

  • Transfer the kale to a salad spinner and remove the excess water. Then dry the leaves by patting them with a dish towel.

  • Take the baking sheet and line it with a sheet of parchment paper, then arrange the kale leaves well spaced apart.

  • Season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  • Bake the kale leaves in a preheated oven at 356°F and cook them on a convection setting for 10 minutes.

  • Serve the kale chips hot right out of the oven or cold as you prefer.
