Single-serving Panettone Stuffed with Mascarpone

The single-serving panettone stuffed with mascarpone is a practical and delicious version of the beloved Christmas dessert in a “mini” size. Quick and easy to prepare in just a few minutes, it’s perfect to enjoy after holiday meals as a dessert or for a tasty Christmas snack. I chose the classic mini panettone, the one with candied fruit and raisins, alternatively, depending on your taste, you can opt for one without candied fruit or use a mini pandoro.

  • 1 mini panettone (90 g)
  • 3 oz oz mascarpone
  • 1 oz oz dark chocolate chips
  • 1 oz oz candied fruit
  • 1 oz oz Grand Marnier
  • 1 candied cherry (for decoration)

  • to taste powdered sugar

Steps

To prepare the single-serving panettone stuffed with mascarpone…

  • Take the mini panettone, cut off the top following the line of the paper casing, then use a knife to cut inside and with your hands remove some of the crumb.

  • In a bowl, crumble the extracted crumb into coarse pieces with your hands.

  • Add the chocolate chips, candied fruit, mascarpone, Grand Marnier, and mix everything well with a spoon.

  • Fill the inside of the mini panettone with the prepared filling. Then close it with the previously cut top.

  • Garnish the top with chocolate melted in the microwave for 2 minutes on medium power or in a saucepan on the stove and place a candied cherry in the center.

  • Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar to taste. The single-serving panettone stuffed with mascarpone is ready.
