Air fryer baked apples with raisins and cinnamon, soft and fragrant, with a delicious sauce that makes them special. These apples are a light dessert to enjoy at the end of a meal or as a snack, guilt-free. The apples remain very soft inside because I cooked them with the skin, which eventually peels off on its own.
It often happens to crave something sweet suddenly, and if you don’t have anything else available, it’s hard not to grab a chocolate bar… but with these apples ready in the fridge, it’s easier to resist temptation.
For this recipe, you can use any type of apple. I made them with raisins and cinnamon because I really like these flavors, but you can add whatever you prefer: nuts, grated lemon zest, vanilla, ginger…
It’s a really simple preparation and a great trick to get kids to eat fruit.
Of course, if you don’t own an air fryer you can also bake the apples in the oven, at the end of the recipe you’ll find the baking instructions.
If you’re considering purchasing one, I recommend an air fryer like mine; you can find the links in the recommended tools!
