Banana Bread – Chocolate and Walnuts, a very well-known and easy-to-make American dessert: you mash the bananas and add them to the dough along with the walnuts and chocolate chips.
This dessert is a sure success, and I make it often because every time I do, it gets devoured. I usually make it in the morning, go to work, and by the time I come back, there’s less than half left, but at least I get to taste it!
As I mentioned I already made it beforewith chocolate and mixed dried fruits, particularly oats, almonds, and hazelnuts, but in this version, I used chocolate and walnuts and it’s a delight.
Banana bread is baked in a loaf pan and is ideal for breakfast or a snack. Inside it remains moist, but the walnuts give it a crunch. It is usually made with very ripe bananas, so it’s also a way to use up those that are left in the fruit holder, almost black, but you can also use bananas at the right ripeness.

How to Make Banana Bread – Chocolate and Walnuts
Slice the bananas and place them in a large bowl. Mash them with a fork and add the sugar, eggs, oil, and mix everything with a whisk.
Add the flour, salt, baking powder, chocolate chips, and coarsely broken walnut halves with your fingers.
Mix with the whisk and pour the mixture into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated static oven at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes. The cake should be golden on top, and once cooked, let it cool completely before enjoying.
In the KCC bowl, place the sliced bananas, attach the K beater and run the machine for 30 seconds at maximum speed, to obtain a banana puree.
Add the sugar, eggs, oil, and restart for 30 seconds at speed 3.
Add the flour, salt, baking powder, and mix for one minute, starting from the minimum speed (to prevent the flour from flying) and reaching speed 3.
Finally, add the chocolate chips and coarsely broken walnut halves with your fingers. 30 seconds at speed 1 and the batter is ready.
Pour it into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated static oven at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes. The cake should be golden on top, and once cooked, let it cool completely before enjoying.
