Cauliflower Gratin with Stracchino Cheese

Cauliflower gratin with stracchino is a tasty and flavorful side dish that you can serve with a meat dish. Like many winter vegetable recipes, it is gratinated but instead of béchamel sauce, I used stracchino cheese.

I cooked this dish in an air fryer, but if you prefer, you can also do it in the oven!

How to Prepare Cauliflower Gratin with Stracchino

  • First, boil the cauliflower in salted water until it becomes slightly tender, then drain it.

Once cooled, cut it into slices or florets and place them in a baking pan.

Put the stracchino cheese in a bowl, add the milk and stir to obtain a cream. Add nutmeg, pepper, and mix everything.

Lightly salt the cauliflower, cover it with the stracchino cream, and gratinate it in an air fryer for 10 minutes at 374°F, or in the oven for 18 minutes at 392°F.

Once cooked, wait a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

You can store the cauliflower gratin with stracchino in a closed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

I sliced the cauliflower because I liked it that way, but you can simply divide it into florets, the cooking won’t change.
