Steps: Chickpea, Cherry Tomato, and Cottage Cheese Salad
First, drain the chickpeas in a colander, then rinse them and let them drain well.
Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters, slice the olives, and put them in a bowl. At this point, add the chickpeas and cottage cheese, drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt, then give it a good mix to combine all the ingredients.
If you like, garnish with a basil leaf and let the salad rest for 10 minutes so that the ingredients absorb the flavors.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
What can I use instead of chickpeas?
You can replace them with beans: both cannellini beans, navy beans, or borlotti beans work well.
