Cold Summer Pizza with Olives and Capers

Cold summer pizza with olives and capers, the ideal recipe when you crave pizza in the hot season! I’ve already made the Cold Summer Pizza with salad, scamorza, and tuna, this is a variation. As in the original recipe, the base is prepared in advance, I bake it in the morning when it’s not too hot to turn on the oven and top it with fresh ingredients when it’s cold.

To make things even easier this time I used a ready-made pizza base that I bought at the supermarket. If you want to knead it yourself, prepare it with this recipe: High and Soft Pizza Dough

How to Prepare Cold Summer Pizza with Olives and Capers

  • Unroll the pizza dough and place it on a baking tray, season it with tomato sauce, a pinch of salt (little because the topping is already salty), and a drizzle of oil. Bake the base according to the instructions on the package and let it cool.

    Top the pizza with olives, capers, and diced scamorza.
