The ingredients for the couscous are few: tuna, zucchini, and buffalo mozzarella bites. I recommend choosing high-quality mozzarella: good buffalo mozzarella bites from Campania will make the dish excellent! This recipe is quick to prepare, without spending much time on the stove. You can also prepare the dish in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
I used buffalo mozzarella bites from Campania DOP. If you can’t find them, you can get buffalo mozzarella and cut it into pieces. I’ve also prepared couscous with pesto, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella bites, which is really delicious.

Steps for Couscous with Tuna and Buffalo Mozzarella
First, put the couscous in a large bowl, add salt, and pour the boiling water over it. I usually use the same weight of water as couscous, but follow the cooking instructions on the box. Cover with a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the zucchini into pieces and sauté them in a pan with basil and a drizzle of oil for 5 minutes, then season with salt and set aside.
When the couscous is ready, fluff it well with a fork, add some oil, mix, and let it cool.
Add the zucchini, drained tuna, and mozzarella bites to the couscous, mix again, and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
