Ham and Egg in a Cup in Air Fryer

The Ham and Egg in a Cup is a super quick and delicious dish to prepare, cooked in an air fryer. You can use either ceramic cups as I did, or disposable foil ones.

What I love about this recipe is that you can use it as a base and vary the ingredients as you like!

The essential ingredients are 3: EGGS, a CURED MEAT, and a CHEESE. You can substitute them according to your needs, the cooking remains the same. You can use speck, raw or cooked ham, bacon… and as for cheeses, any melting cheese is good: scamorza, provola, fontina…

In the kitchen, unleash your imagination because it is essential, and if you have no ideas, follow me, I will give you some inspiration!

I take this opportunity to introduce you to my new air fryer, I already love it madly! It’s the Cosori with dual resistance.

Of course, if you don’t have an air fryer you can also cook this dish in the oven, at the end of the recipe you’ll find the cooking methods.

How to Prepare Ham and Egg in a Cup in Air Fryer

  • If you use disposable cups, grease them with a little oil, otherwise, as in my case, with ceramic it is not necessary.

Fold a slice of ham and place it on the edge of the cup, crack an egg into it, and season with salt and pepper.

Cook at 356°F for 8 minutes, add the grated cheese and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes still at 356°F.

Carefully remove the cups as they will be hot and let them cool for a minute before serving.

Your Questions
