Lemon donuts are soft and fragrant sweets, perfect for both breakfast and snack, accompanied by a cup of tea. The dough is simple to prepare and the cooking time is very fast: they will be baked in just 15 minutes.
I made these sweets using metal molds, similar to those for muffins but with a hole, to create the donuts. However, if you don’t have them, you can use the classic muffin molds.
If you prefer, with the same quantities of the recipe, you can also make a loaf cake: just put the mixture in a mold and then bake it for about 40 minutes.

Steps: Lemon Donuts
Put the sugar, eggs, yogurt, oil, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well with an electric whisk, then add the flour, baking powder, and salt.
At this point, butter and flour the donut molds and pour the batter into each, not filling them to the brim.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356 Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, then check the baking: if needed, extend it for a few more minutes.
Now let the donuts cool, then remove them from the molds. You can serve them with a dusting of powdered sugar.
