Mini apple strudels are made of crispy puff pastry but soft inside, with a delicious filling, and they’re ready in no time thanks to the air fryer cooking. Of course, you can also bake them in the oven, and at the end of the recipe, you’ll find instructions for both cooking methods.
These small pastries, ideal for both snack and dessert, are filled with classic strudel filling. I didn’t add cinnamon because my son doesn’t like it, but you can add it if you want.
I often see these pastries at the supermarket and feel like buying them, but making them at home saves money and they’re even tastier! I’ve already made the Apple Turnovers in Air Fryer, which are just as easy and quick to prepare.
Of course, you can also try making puff pastry at home, but let’s be honest: the store-bought one is good and perfectly fine for this kind of dessert!

How to Prepare Mini Apple Strudels in Air Fryer
Unroll the puff pastry, then divide it in half on the shorter side and into 3 on the longer side. This will give you 6 equal rectangles. Spread the jam on all the pastries, leaving one half and the edges free.
Now peel the apples, remove the core, and dice them. Distribute the apples over the jam, add some raisins, and fold the empty pastry half over the filling.
Seal the edges by pressing with your fingers and make cuts on the pastry with a knife.
Place the pastries in the air fryer on the rack with parchment paper. Cook without preheating for 8 minutes at 320°F, then remove the parchment paper and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
If you prefer, you can also bake the mini strudels in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes.
When golden, take them out and let them cool, then dust with powdered sugar.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Can I use another fruit instead of apples?
Yes, certainly. Replace the apples with pears and proceed in the same way.
If I don’t eat them right away, how do I store them?
You can store the mini apple strudels at room temperature for 2 days, under a glass dome.
