Pandoro Tiramisu

Pandoro Tiramisu is a delicious, easy spoon dessert that can be prepared in a few minutes and is ideal for ending the holiday meal. A way to use leftover pandoro, which may not be as soft as when just opened, and recycle it into this delicious dessert.

I know it’s hard to have leftover pandoro because everyone loves it, but if it happens, there are many recipes where it will be even tastier and a success!

Ingredients

  • Half pandoro
  • 10.5 oz mascarpone
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

How to prepare Pandoro Tiramisu

  • Beat the egg yolks with the sugar, add the mascarpone and mix until you get a smooth cream. Add the whipped egg whites, gently stirring to keep the cream from deflating.

    Slice the pandoro into 1 or 2 cm (about 1/2 to 3/4 inch) slices and proceed to assemble the dessert:

    Place a layer of cream in a dish, add a slice of pandoro, drizzle with a few tablespoons of coffee, more cream, and then more pandoro.

  • Continue like this until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a generous layer of cream. Sprinkle with cocoa powder and let the dessert rest in the fridge for at least a couple of hours, preferably overnight.

  • Add the mascarpone and blend at speed 1 until you get a smooth cream.
