Penne with Sauce, Olives, and Capers

Penne with sauce, olives, and capers, a simply prepared but very flavorful pasta, with few ingredients that you can prepare when you have little time.

For me, this is a recipe that meets the tastes of the whole family, something not to be underestimated if you have to cook for multiple people. It is also a quick recipe because I started boiling water for the pasta and meanwhile cooked the sauce, a few minutes for a delicious first course!

Ingredients

  • 11 oz penne rigate
  • 1.5 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 20 green olives
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt

How to Prepare Penne with Sauce, Olives, and Capers

  • Place a pot of salted water on the stove and cook the pasta.
    Meanwhile, sauté the garlic clove in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil, add the tomato sauce, and cook for 5 minutes.

    At this point, remove the garlic, add the olives and capers, season with salt, and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

    When the pasta is cooked, drain it and toss it with the sauce, mix well, and serve immediately.
