The Rice Pudding, creamy and fresh, is perfect for a snack or breakfast, paired with fresh fruit slices and chopped hazelnuts. A simple spoon dessert to make: it is a rice cream cooked in milk and flavored with cinnamon or cocoa.
It’s a famous dessert around the world, and each country has its version, flavored differently, but you can also find it ready-made at the supermarket. You can add chopped pistachios, walnuts, raisins, or lemon zest according to your tastes: it will still be a delicious snack!

Ingredients
- 4 1/4 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Half vanilla bean
- 1 pinch salt
- ground cinnamon (to taste)
Cinnamon Rice Pudding Preparation
First, put the milk in a saucepan and heat it. Now cut the vanilla bean in half, remove the seeds with the tip of a knife, and add them to the milk along with the half bean. Add the sugar and salt, stir, and bring to a boil.
At this point, add the rice and cook on low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the rice pudding becomes too dry, add a bit more milk or a splash of water: it should remain creamy.
When ready, remove the vanilla bean and divide it into 4 small bowls. Add a pinch of cinnamon and enjoy it warm or cold.
