Sauteed Mixed Mushrooms are a delicious side dish that can be prepared in a few minutes with garlic, oil, and parsley. Perfect to pair with meat or fish, and also great for topping tagliatelle, risotto, or enjoying with polenta.
This time, for convenience, I used frozen mixed mushrooms, which are very handy because they are already cleaned and sliced, saving me time. If you’re not lazy like me and feel like cleaning them, then I recommend making Fresh Sauteed Mushrooms.
Recently, my son Aaron has changed his tastes; he loves mushrooms and wants to eat them all the time. I remember when he was younger, he couldn’t even stand the sight of them… With frozen mushrooms, I do well because I can add a handful to soups, which he doesn’t particularly like, making them more appetizing.
Very few ingredients for a tasty, simple but very flavorful side dish!

How to Prepare Sauteed Mixed Mushrooms
Preparing frozen sauteed mushrooms is very simple!
Place a frying pan on the stove with a drizzle of oil and the garlic clove and let it brown for a minute, then add the still frozen mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. If they dry out too much, add a splash of water.
Add the chopped parsley, salt, and cook for another two minutes, then remove the garlic clove and turn off the heat.
The mushrooms are ready, place them on the serving dish and serve hot.
Storage
Sauteed mixed mushrooms can be stored in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, for up to 3 days.
