An easy and quick to prepare fish main course that is very tasty and will make a great impression on your guests.

Salmon is a fish with a delicate and distinctive flavor that is often well appreciated, it lends itself to many culinary preparations and is good for our health because it is rich in omega-3, minerals, fats, and proteins.

Today I used it in steaks and baked it with a side of potatoes. A very simple preparation with a sure result, ideal for a dinner with friends or a Sunday lunch just like roast chicken or roast lamb.

Now let’s see together, step by step, how to make this recipe.

Let’s prepare baked salmon together

Let’s start!

  • First of all, let’s take care of the potatoes, which will be the only thing we must do 😂!

Peel them, wash them, and cut them into slices about 3/8 inch thick. Leave them in cold water for about ten minutes, then drain and season them with two generous tablespoons of olive oil, salt, rosemary needles, and oregano. Mix to flavor.

Take a baking pan and cover it with parchment paper, pour in the potatoes, add a drizzle of olive oil, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15 minutes. Then remove from the oven and place our salmon steaks or fillets on top of the potatoes, lightly salt, and bake again for about twenty minutes.

  • After 20 minutes, raise the temperature to 400°F and set the grill function, and let it cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove from the oven when the fish is golden and the potatoes are also golden and crispy.

In this recipe I used salmon, but you can cook other fish in the same way. Before eating, you can add a little lemon juice.
