  • Wash the cherries and remove the stem. With a knife, cut them in half and remove the pit.

  • In the small pot, add the butter.

  • When the cooking liquid has evaporated, add the red wine, lower the heat, and let the wine reduce.

  • It will take at least 20 minutes of cooking over medium heat.
