Flat Green Beans with Tomato

Flat green beans with tomato, also known as coral beans, have different names depending on the region of production. You should know that my mom always prepared them, and since I found them at a local market, I couldn’t resist buying them. We’re talking about many years ago, wanting to replicate the recipe today and my memory not helping, I thought it wise to call one of my three sisters. Absolutely garlic, mom would put garlic along with plenty of celery and tomato. The second sister also said garlic… Unconvinced, I called the eldest sister, who has the best memory: onion, mom used onion with celery and tomato. I would like to say that confusion reigns, but I was not discouraged and used both seasonings, hoping mom won’t scold me! For the success of the flat green beans with tomato dish, I’m aware and confident that it will be delicious, in fact, I’m sure of it.
