Flat Green Beans with Tomato

Flat green beans with tomato, also known as corallo, this type of flat and wide green beans goes by different names depending on the locality of production. You should know that my mom always made them, and when I found them at a local market, I couldn’t resist buying them. We’re talking about many years ago, wanting to replicate the recipe today, and my memory doesn’t help, so I thought it best to call one of my three sisters. Definitely garlic, mom used to add garlic along with lots of celery and tomato. The second one also said garlic… Not convinced, I also consulted the eldest sister, who has an unbeatable memory: onion, mom added onion along with celery and tomato. I would like to say that confusion reigns supreme, but I was not discouraged and added both flavors, hoping mom won’t scold me! For the success of the flat green beans with tomato dish, I am confident and even presumptuous that it will be delicious, actually, I am sure.
