If you have 2 apples at home, making apple crumble will be very easy, this is a quick recipe.
With cold butter, sugar, and flour, I prepared a shortcrust pastry which, instead of compacting it, I left in crumbs.
From this comes the name crumble: crumbs.
Heat the sugar in a pan, letting it melt slowly without stirring.
Add the apples cut into small pieces without peeling them, but only removing the core.
Add the lemon juice and the dried cranberries.
Chop the toasted almonds and add them to the apples.
Sprinkle the shortcrust pastry crumbs over the apples in the baking dish.
