Ingredients
- 10 shrimp
- 5 sheets phyllo dough
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Tools
- Food Brush
- Muffin Pans
- Grater
Steps
Wash the shrimp and remove the shell, head, and vein using a toothpick, leaving only the tail. Season them with salt, pepper, parsley, and extra virgin olive oil, and finally with lemon zest and juice.
Divide all the phyllo dough sheets in half (make sure to keep them covered while using one, as they dry out quickly), take one and fold it in two, brush with extra virgin olive oil and fold again
brush again,
place in the muffin tin
and before closing the basket, place a marinated shrimp in the center.
Close and repeat with the rest of the phyllo dough. There are 5 sheets that become 10 when cut in half, exactly for 10 shrimps.
Lightly brush the surface of the shrimps in phyllo dough with extra virgin olive oil.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 355°F
And here they are ready, the shrimp with phyllo dough appetizer, a very quick dish.
