Sweet Christmas tartlets with apples, blueberry jam, and amaretti. Ideal for breakfast, but I prefer them with coffee after lunch, a perfect comfort food for these hectic days. I used ready-made puff pastry, which is suitable for both savory and sweet. Here are some examples: the bedspread cake or the millefeuille with custard. Delicious even without shortcrust pastry, indeed, with the crispiness of puff pastry, it has an edge. This is to say that sometimes you don’t have enough time, but you prefer homemade desserts, and this could be a good compromise, indeed it is.

Steps to Prepare Sweet Christmas Tartlets
I peel the apples and cut them into cubes. I put them in a pan with sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and grated lemon zest.
Sauté for 5 minutes over high heat. They shouldn’t become soft, just dissolve and caramelize the sugar.
Slightly cool the apples and
add the blueberry jam and
the crumbled amaretti.
Mix to combine the ingredients together.
With my Delicia mold, I cut out 4 bases and 4 covers with diamond holes, which I also used to prepare the savory Christmas tartlets. I divided the cooked apple filling with amaretti into four parts.
After filling the bases with the filling, I sealed it with the top part by closing the mold.
After finishing all 4 tartlets, I
brushed the surface with milk using the silicone food brush.
Immediately in the oven at 365°F for 25 minutes.
And here they are, the sweet Christmas tartlets ready.
A sprinkle of powdered sugar and they’re ready for a coffee with a friend.
Simple and filled for a fun and delicious snack.
Great for a Christmas Eve breakfast with family.

FAQ (Questions and Answers) “`
Can custard be used instead of jam to prepare the sweet Christmas tartlets?
Yes, certainly, custard will work perfectly, just make sure to prepare it sturdier and the day before so it’s cold enough when you use it.
