Recipe for ziti with mussels and broccoli
in my garden there are still many broccoli plants, as I need to start working for the new planting season, I obviously have to clear the ground… My broccoli are magical and keep producing… I am very happy about this, obviously, I eat broccoli in all kinds of dishes.
Today I present them to you with ziti and mussels, with an inevitable chili pepper that gives character to the dish.
I used bronze-drawn ziti, a hearty and flavorful pasta with the right rusticity for this preparation. As often happens, it’s a very simple dish accessible to everyone.

Steps
Spontaneous preparation, few steps are needed. A complete first course for when we are in a hurry and don’t have time to be in the kitchen but want a good plate of pasta.
In the video recipe everything is explained, but I write the steps for simplification.
Put a pot with water and salt, clean and cut the broccoli into wedges and put them to cook in the water prepared earlier. In a pan, sauté the garlic and chili pepper, add the mussels; I prefer them shelled, cook them without drying out too much. Now you can cook the pasta… Drain and pour into the mussel pan and let it flavor. The ziti are ready to enjoy!

And after cooking…
Spontaneous preparation, optionally store in the refrigerator until the next day. It loses freshness afterward.
