Quick PARMESAN DONUTS
Useful tips: use aged parmesan for a stronger flavor, don’t overdo the flour to keep the donuts soft, and if you want to make them even tastier you can add pepper, paprika, or aromatic herbs. They keep for a few hours at room temperature, but my advice is simple: make and eat them right away.

FAQ Quick PARMESAN DONUTS
Can Parmesan donuts be made with long leavening?
Absolutely yes! Just use brewer’s yeast and let the dough rest.
Can I bake Parmesan donuts in the oven or air fryer?
Certainly! I baked them in the air fryer because it was a small batch.
What cheese can I use instead of parmesan?
You can use Grana Padano or Pecorino or any hard cheese that you can grate, not soft cheese in this case.
Are they suitable as an appetizer?
Definitely! They are perfect as an appetizer, aperitif, snack, or treat for both adults and children.
Can they be prepared in advance?
Yes, but I recommend making them the same day because they harden faster compared to slow-leavening doughs with brewer’s yeast.
