Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry
- 2 apples
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 10 amaretti
Steps
Remove the puff pastry from the fridge 10 minutes before using it, then place it on the work surface and prick it with a fork.
Peel and slice the apples then place them in a pan with the sugar and cook for a bit to melt the sugar.
Arrange the warm apples on half of the puff pastry, crumble the amaretti and place the crumbs, then fold over the other half of the puff pastry and seal the edges.
Score a grid on the puff pastry with a knife, bake in the hot oven at 356°F for 15 minutes, remove and cut the dessert following the scored lines, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
