Ingredients

  • 4 artichokes
  • 1 puff pastry
  • 1.75 oz smoked provola cheese
  • 1.4 oz speck

Preparation

  • Clean the artichokes by removing the tougher outer leaves, use the heart, the tender part of the artichoke.

  • Boil the artichokes with water and a drizzle of oil, or as you usually do, then drain well and cut into 6 wedges.

  • Cut the puff pastry into 4 or 6 rectangles, fill with artichokes, slices of provola cheese, and speck.

  • Close the puff pastry sealing the edges with a fork, prick and brush with an egg yolk if you prefer.

  • Place the PUFF PASTRY TWISTS on the baking sheet lined with paper.

  • Bake in the hot oven at 392 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
