Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.35 oz fresh brewer's yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.85 cup water
- to taste pepper
- 3.5 tablespoon lard (or extra virgin olive oil)
- 5 artichokes
- 2 sausages
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste dry white wine
Preparation
Dissolve the yeast in the water and pour it into a bowl, add the flour, salt, pepper (omitted), and lard; knead well, make a ball, and let it rise for 2 hours.
Clean the artichokes, remove the tougher outer leaves, the inner fuzz, and cut them into wedges, cook them in a pan with a clove of garlic and closed lid.
Cut the sausages into pieces, cook them in a pan with white wine, let it evaporate, then cover and continue cooking for about 15 minutes.
When risen, take the dough and roll it out on a floured surface, fill it with artichokes, sausages, and diced provola cheese, roll and close into a ring.
Let it rise for 20 minutes, then preheat the oven and bake, cook for about 25 minutes, do the toothpick test.
