Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups tomato sauce
- 1.3 lbs ground beef
- 7 oz cooked ham
- 8.8 oz buffalo mozzarella (or provolone cheese)
- 1 cup béchamel sauce (or ricotta)
Steps
You can choose to use béchamel or ricotta, in this case prepare the béchamel HERE and set aside.
Prepare a simple tomato sauce as usual then add the béchamel or ricotta and set aside.
Prepare the crepes, work the eggs in a bowl, add the milk and oil and work again with a hand whisk, add a pinch of salt and the flour a little at a time while still working with the whisk.
Cook the crepes by pouring a ladle of batter into a well-heated pan.
Prepare the meat by cooking it in a pan with oil and a closed lid.
Stuff the crepes with ham, cheese, and meat, roll up and arrange the crepes in a baking dish, cover with a layer of tomato sauce and cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 15 minutes.
