Beer Chicken with Marinade in Skillet or Oven

BEER CHICKEN with MARINADE, simple main dish and tasty, ideal recipe for lunch or dinner with white meat to make in the oven or skillet.

Delicious beer chicken prepared with a simple marinade can be cooked both in a skillet and in the oven, and it’s sure to please everyone, even the little ones.

I had never prepared beer chicken because I always thought the alcohol base would be too noticeable, but it’s not because the beer evaporates during cooking and the chicken remains very tender.

I started cooking it in a large skillet, but the chicken was so big that I couldn’t flip it well, so I transferred everything to the baking sheet and finished cooking, even passing it under the grill.

What can I say, it was really excellent.

Follow me in the kitchen today, there is beer chicken in skillet or oven with a simple and quick marinade!

Beer chicken with marinade in a pan or oven
  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very cheap
  • Preparation time: 20 Minutes
  • Portions: 5-6
  • Cooking methods: Stovetop
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken
  • 1 Light beer
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • Half White onion
  • Sweet paprika (or honey)

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken into pieces or get it pre-cut to save time and effort; I cut it at home and my chicken was quite large.

  • Place the pieces in a large salad bowl, pour in half a bottle of beer, oil, thyme, and rosemary.

  • Add 2 whole garlic cloves and the onion sliced, let it marinate for an hour, turning the pieces.

  • After the time has passed, oil a pan and add the chicken pieces, fry and cook while gradually adding the marinade.

  • The cooking times vary depending on the size of the pieces, but it generally cooks in about 30 minutes.

  • Or you can place the pieces on the oven baking sheet, drizzle with the marinade, and cook at 392°F for 30 minutes.

  • I started cooking in a pan but needed a much larger one, so I transferred the chicken halfway through to the oven.

  • At the end of cooking, turn on the grill at 482°F, if you like, brush the chicken with paprika or honey and roast it for 10 minutes, until it browns.

    Bon appétit
