- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 6-8
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2.1 oz sugar
- 2.1 oz all-purpose flour
- Nutella®
- 5.3 oz chocolate
- 3 tbsps sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
Steps
You need to make 2 bases of biscuit dough, so you will need double the ingredients to make either one batch at a time or make a single batch and divide it into two pans; I prefer to make them separately.
So: preheat the oven to 392°F, make the first batch of biscuit dough; work the eggs with the sugar until they are nice and fluffy, then add the flour a little at a time.
Pour the mixture into a tray lined with parchment paper, approximately 12 inches x 8 inches, level it and bake for 7 minutes, keep an eye on the oven.
Remove from the oven, do not turn off the oven, flip the biscuit dough onto a clean dish towel.
Prepare the second base, beat the eggs with the sugar then add the flour, pour it into the mold and bake it.
Take the biscuit dough off the dish towel and cut it into 3 equal strips, trim the edges if they are not straight, repeat with the second one.
Melt the chocolate with the milk and sugar and let it cool.
Place the first layer of biscuit dough on the serving plate, fill with Nutella, then with a spoon or two of chocolate, place the second layer and continue until you’ve used all the ingredients.
Put the brick in the freezer for 10 minutes, remove it and dust with cocoa powder.
Bon appétit
