Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsps butter
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/3 cup milk
Preparation
Pour the flour into the food processor, add the butter cut into pieces and mix.
Add the grated orange zest and the egg, mix again.
Combine the milk, orange juice, and mix again.
Take the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to form a rectangle 12 inches by the full length of the dough, then cut into strips of 1/3 inch.
Roll to form pinwheels, then heat the oil and fry until golden.
Drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
