  • 2 cups semolina flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 7 oz salmon
  • 1 lb cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 3.5 oz zucchini
  • Half red Tropea onion

Steps

  • Prepare the cavatelli following this recipe with the video and set aside, it takes very little time, they’re very quick to make at home, but you can use dried pasta if you prefer.

  • Clean the salmon, remove the bones and skin, then cut it into pieces.

  • Grate or cut the zucchini into pieces, slice the onion thinly and sauté it in a pan, add the zucchini, a little water and let it soften then blend with an immersion blender.

  • Add the cherry tomatoes and tomato puree, cook for a few minutes, and add the salmon.

  • Cook the pasta until it floats to the surface, add some cooking water to the sauce, drain the pasta and pour it into the pan.

  • Sauté for a few minutes, just enough time to thicken the sauce a bit, and serve with a grating of lemon zest.
