Chocolate Delight Tart

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Half lemon zest
  • 5 oz chocolate
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet vanillin

Steps

  • Pour the flour into a bowl, add the sugar, a pinch of salt, the butter in pieces, and the egg, and quickly work all the base ingredients, prepare a dough and let it rest in the fridge wrapped in cling film for 30 minutes.

  • In the meantime, melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

  • In a bowl, beat the egg with the sugar and vanillin. When the chocolate is melted and cooled, combine the two mixtures.

  • Take the dough from the fridge, roll it out, keeping some dough aside for decorative strips, place it in a 8-9 inch tin, fill with the chocolate cream, make the strips, and decorate the tart.

  • Bake at 356°F for about 30 minutes.
