Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (or cornstarch)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 oz chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Steps

  • Mix the egg yolk with the sugar in a small saucepan, add the flour and keep stirring, then add the cocoa, stir and add 1 cup of cream a little at a time, stirring continuously.

  • Move to the stovetop and keep stirring, add the chocolate and keep working until it thickens.

  • Pour everything into a wide and shallow bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it cool.

  • Whip the remaining cream, set aside a little cream to place at the bottom of the cups, 2 or 4, and add the cream to the rest of the chocolate.

  • Mix well with a spatula and fill the cups, decorate with chocolate chopped with a knife.
