The chocolate mousse recipe is very simple, prepared by beating egg whites until stiff to make a sort of meringue, whipping the cream, and melting the chocolate, then combining the three mixtures. Needless to say, it’s a spoon dessert that’s velvety, creamy, and soft.

Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Steps

  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler with a couple of tablespoons of water or milk.

  • Keep some melted chocolate aside for decoration.

  • Pour the mixture into cups, decorate with melted chocolate and chocolate pieces.

  • Store in the freezer for at least 30 minutes or until serving.
