A very simple recipe taken from my book of old Neapolitan recipes, I don’t know why but there’s also this one, they are coconut and chocolate cookies perfect even for celiacs.
A simple and delicious treat perfect to serve even after dinner or as a pastry in case of unexpected guests.
My treats are without sugar but you can replace the egg whites with condensed milk to make it sweeter.

Ingredients
- 1.75 oz 50% Dark Chocolate
- 4.75 oz Desiccated Coconut
- 2 Egg Whites
Preparation
Chop the chocolate into pieces with a smooth-edged knife and place it in a bowl.
Add the coconut and egg whites without whisking.
Mix everything well with a fork then use your hands.
Form 7 balls, flatten them slightly and place them on a baking tray lined with paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F and cook for 10-12 minutes.

P.S. keep in mind that they are without sugar so slightly bitter depending on the chocolate you use, you can add a couple of tablespoons of sugar if you prefer.
