Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 3/4 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 tablespoon White wine vinegar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 6 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 2 Melinda Renette apples
Preparation
Grease a 8-inch pan and dust it with flour.
Pour the flour, baking powder, and sugar into a bowl and mix well.
Add the vinegar, it’s optional, it helps with leavening but is not essential, then add the oil and water.
Mix well until you get a creamy mixture.
Peel the Melinda renette apples and cut them into not too large cubes and add them to the rest of the ingredients.
Pour everything into the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 30 minutes, always do the toothpick test.
Remove from oven and let cool before cutting.
