- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very inexpensive
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 9
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 1 Puff Pastry (rectangular)
- 2 tablespoons Ricotta
- 1 egg yolk
- as needed Grana cheese flakes
- 1 slice Cooked ham
- as needed Chives
Preparation
For the recipe, the quantities are a bit indicative, I only made the stars you see.
Roll out a rectangular puff pastry and cut an even number of 2-inch stars, there should be 18.
With a smaller star cutter, 2 inches, cut out the inside of half the stars.
Basically, we need to get full stars and an equal number of empty stars, just a border.
Place the empty star over the full star following the contour, of course.
Gently press, place the stars on a sheet of parchment paper and bake in a hot oven at 392°F for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, put the ricotta, add the egg yolk, small pieces of cooked ham, salt to taste, and mix.
If it seems little, add a tablespoon of ricotta, the egg yolk is sufficient.
Remove the stars from the oven and fill the center with a bit of filling.
Chop the chives and sprinkle on top then bake again for about 7-8 minutes.
Bon appétit
