- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very inexpensive
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 5 pieces
- Cooking methods: Oven, Air Fryer
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose (00) flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp instant baking powder (for savory preparations)
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 almonds
Steps
Put the flour in a bowl, add the salt and baking powder, mix, then add the oil, start mixing and add the water a little at a time.
Knead well; if needed add a little more flour or oil your hands because the dough remains slightly sticky.
Divide into 5–6 pieces and shape into finger-thick little rolls, form a knot by securing one end at the loop level, leaving the other end long.
Form a small ball and place it on the loop, position an almond and press the other end with a fork to create the tail shape.
Bake at 356°F for about 15 minutes, either in the oven or in the air fryer.
Enjoy!
