  • Half Tropea red onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt (not heaped)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2.8 oz provola cheese

Steps

For this recipe, I used pre-cooked peas, but you can choose the ones you prefer or according to the season.

  • Grate the potatoes with a coarse grater into a large bowl.

  • Chop the onion with a knife and add it to the potatoes, grate the carrots into the bowl, and add the peas.

  • Mix and add the eggs, the salt, and finally the flour and diced provola cheese.

  • Mix everything well and pour the mixture into a baking dish lined with 8 or 9-inch parchment paper, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and oil.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes.
