Ingredients

  • 6 zucchini flowers
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Half teaspoon lemon juice

Preparation

  • Prepare the batter, place the flour and salt in a bowl.

  • Add the water a little at a time, working with a hand whisk, and mix in the lemon juice. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for about half an hour.

  • Clean the flowers, remove the pistil and stem. I left it for decoration.

  • Coat them in the batter and fry in hot oil, then drain on kitchen paper.
