The grandma’s bundt cake with lemon is ideal if you are looking for a sweet to prepare in a few minutes with few ingredients that you usually have at home, flour, eggs, sugar, oil, milk, and lemon.

Obviously, if you don’t like lemon, you can remove it or replace it with orange juice if you prefer or depending on the season, or more milk, and if you don’t like oil, butter is fine too.

Grandma's Quick Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Half packet baking powder
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup milk

Preparation

  • Beat the eggs with sugar until they double in volume, add a pinch of salt, lemon juice, and grated zest.

  • Gradually add the sifted flour with baking powder, alternating with oil and milk.

  • Butter and flour a pan 8 inches wide and 4 inches high or 9 inches wide, and pour the mixture. Tap the pan on the counter to remove any air bubbles.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 365°F (ventilated) for 25 minutes.
