QUICK GRANDMA’S FRITTERS are easy, simple, and delicious Carnival dessert, perfect for adults and children, prepared in a short time.
Grandma’s fritters recipe is very simple; you mix everything, roll it out, cut it, fry it, or you can also bake them if you prefer a lighter dessert.
Grandma’s fritters are delicious with Strega liqueur, very fragrant and with very little lard, but if you don’t like it, you can always eliminate it or substitute it with butter.
Strega liqueur was always present in grandma’s house and also in my mom’s; the sponge cake soak was always with this liqueur, diluted with water and sugar, or natural, it was perfect for all desserts.
But if you don’t like it, you can obviously replace it with milk or citrus juice.
